Logistics Management Associates(LMA) was established in 1985. We provide logistics and supportability-related engineering consulting services of the highest quality to an international list of commercial and government organizations. LMA currently has over 60 “associates” in various locations around the world who can be called upon to meet any Client’s specific requirements. Our “associates” each average over 20 years experience as consultants, many being internationally acclaimed subject matter experts in specific technical or management disciplines.

 

James V. Jones

President and Principal Consultant

James V. Jones is an internationally recognized authority on Integrated Logistics Support, Supportability Engineering and Life Cycle Costing. He has been instrumental in development of many contemporary ILS policies and standards. Mr. Jones holds the prestigious Armitage Medal awarded by the Society of Logistics Engineers in recognition of his numerous technical books on logistics. Additionally, Mr. Jones received a personal letter of commendation from President George Bush for his contributions to logistics.  He is a  lecturer various universities and a member of the Netherlands Research School for Transportation, Infrastructure and Logistics (TRAIL).  His publications include the Integrated Logistics Support Handbook (McGraw-Hill 2006) and the Supportability Engineering Handbook (McGraw-Hill 2007). Mr. Jones currently provides consulting and training services internationally to a wide range of government and commercial clients.
